More details about LG's next flagship G5 smartphone design have been tipped in a new leak. The latest leaked schematics once again show the LG G5 to feature a refreshed design from its predecessor.

In the new leaked schematics, LG's next flagship is seen featuring a fingerprint scanner at the back panel just below the camera. One of the biggest design changes noticeable in the new leaked schematics show the company opting to keep the volume rocker keys on the sides. The power key is however on the back panel and is likely to serve dual purpose as it may integrate the fingerprint scanner.

The new leaked schematics corroborate with an earlier report that also claimed the LG G5 will feature a modular design where the battery could be accessed from the bottom part of the phone through a slide-in and out scheme.

According to the new details, the LG G5 is said to measure 149.4x73.9x8.2mm. If true, it would make the smartphone thinner than the LG G4 - which came with 148.9x76.1x9.8mm dimensions.

Some of the other details tipped claims that the LG G5 will sport an all-metal build and may pack a 5.6-inch QHD display. To refresh, the LG G4 features a 5.5-inch QHD IPS LCD display.

The leaked schematics were first picked up by Android Authority and were originally tipped by Shai Mizrachi.

Another highlight feature of the G5 that is being rumoured for long is the "ticker display" which is likely to sport a screen resolution of 160x1040 pixels, again same as the one found on the V10 smartphone. Some of the rumoured specifications of the G5 include a 5.3-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display; Snapdragon 820 processor; 16-megapixel rear camera, and a fingerprint scanner.
