Micromax on Wednesday launched yet another affordable 3G smartphone in India, the Bolt S301, priced at Rs. 2,899. The smartphone will come in pouch packaging the firm first
introduced with other budget smartphones earlier this year.
The dual-SIM
Micromax Bolt S301 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and features a 3.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) resolution display. It features a 1GHz single-core processor (unspecified chipset) coupled with 512MB of RAM.
The Micromax Bolt S301 bears a 1.3-megapixel fixed focus rear camera, and a 0.3-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 16GB). The smartphone is powered by a 1200mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 4 hours of talk time, and 240 hours of standby time.
The Bolt S301 comes preloaded with Quikr, Snapdeal, and Scandid apps. The smartphone will be made available in Black and White colours.

launched another 3G smartphone in India, the Bolt D303, priced at Rs. 3,499. The highlight of the smartphone at its price is 3G connectivity and its support for 10 Indian regional languages, as well as its 'Swipe' feature that the company says enables easy input, apart from a special messaging service for easy translations.
