Mivi Confirmed to Enter the Indian Smartphone Market; Starts Teasing Design, Availability Details

Fire-Boltt recently introduced a new sub-brand, namely Boltt, for its first two smartphones, which are set to launch in India this week. With the unveiling of its new phones, the tech firm will become the latest entrant in the country's handset market. However, another tech firm is also planning to foray into India's smartphone market. Mivi has started teasing the launch of its first smartphone in India. A marketing poster for the upcoming phone is now live on an e-commerce platform in India, teasing the new phone's design, colourway, and availability details. This comes soon after the company reportedly hired a smartphone industry veteran as its new executive.

Mivi to Launch Its First Phone in India Soon

A new marketing poster confirms that Mivi will launch its first smartphone in India soon. The poster has been made live on Flipkart, confirming that the tech firm's first handset will be available for purchase in India via the e-commerce site. Moreover, the image teases that the Mivi phone will be offered in at least a green colourway. It is also shown to sport a flat rear panel with rounded corners.

Other details, including the name of the Mivi smartphone, the exact launch date, specifications, and pricing, remain under wraps. Currently, Mivi is primarily an audio brand. Mivi's product portfolio includes true wireless stereo (TWS), Bluetooth speakers, AI-powered earbuds, soundbars, and speakers.

As previously, Mivi's entry into the Indian smartphone market will follow Fire-Boltt's entry into the market, which was primarily known for its smartwatches. The company is set to launch its Boltt Evo 4G and Boltt Ace 5G on Tuesday as its first two phones. Similar to the Mivi phone, the Boltt handsets will also be available for purchase via Flipkart.

The higher-end Boltt Ace 5G will be equipped with a rectangular rear camera module, with four cutouts placed in the top-left corner of the flat panel. On the other hand, the Boltt Evo is shown in a light blue shade, sporting a similar flat rear panel. The smartphone will also boast a “flat edge middle frame”, with a power button and volume controls on the right side.
