Nokia Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503 launched, due in Q4

Nokia, in an attempt to tap the popularity of the Asha 501 in emerging markets, has launches three new Asha phones, the Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503. All the three Asha phones will be available in five colours Black, Bright Red, Bright Green, Yellow, Cyan and White. The company mentions that the Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503 will be rolling out in Q4 2013.

The company also announced two new 6-inch Windows Phone phablets (Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320), and a brand new Windows RT tablet (Lumia 2520).

The Nokia Asha 500 (pictured below) comes with 2.8-inch QVGA display and sports 2-megapixel rear camera. The Asha 500 will come in two variants, single-SIM and Easy Swap dual-SIM. It has been priced at $69 (Rs. 4,200 approximately) excluding local taxes and subsidies, and will be rolled out in Q4, in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

The Nokia Asha 502 (pictured below) comes with 3-inch display and sports a 5-megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash. Unlike the Asha 500, the Asha 502 comes only in dual-SIM variant with Nokia's Easy Swap technology. It comes at $89 (Rs. 5,500 approximately) excluding local taxes and subsidies, and will be rolled out in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.

The Nokia Asha 503 (pictured above) is the first Asha touchscreen phone which comes with 3G support. Other specifications include 3-inch display boasting Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The Asha 503, much like the Asha 500, comes in two variants single SIM and Easy Swap dual-SIM. It will be available for $99 (Rs. 6,100 approximately) excluding local taxes and subsidies, and will be rolled out in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

All newly announced Asha phones, the Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503 features the updated Fastlane app (seen below on the Asha 503), which was introduced in Asha 501. The company claims that it has reworked the interface of the new Asha phones and comes with one-swipe access to camera app and one-touch sharing feature on WhatsApp.
