As of now, there is no word on the pricing and availability details of both the Obi Falcon S451 and Fox S453 phones. However, we can expect the company to officially reveal the smartphones in the coming days.
In early October, a Mumbai-based retailer had claimed that Obi's Falcon S451 smartphone was available in the market priced at Rs. 7,999. However, the company is yet to officially reveal a price.
The Obi Falcon S451 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that supports one regular SIM and one Micro-SIM. It runs the dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, and features a 4.5-inch (540x960 pixels) qHD IPS display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Falcon S451 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The highlight of the Obi Falcon S451 is an 8-megapixel rear autofocus rotating camera that can rotate up to 206 degrees and lock at the desired angle. It is accompanied by a dual-LED flash.
Oppo's former flagship, the N1, also came with a 13-megapixel rotating camera that could rotate up to 206 degrees, and could lock at any angle.
On the connectivity front, the Falcon S451 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 2200mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time, and up to 230 hours of standby time. It measures 131x66.3x8.9mm and is listed in just White colour.
The Obi Fox S453, also a dual-SIM smartphone (regular SIM + Micro-SIM), runs the more recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It comes with a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA TFT IPS display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Obi Fox S453 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports a 5-megapixel rear fixed-focus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Obi Fox S453 comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
The Fox S453 packs a 1600mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. It measures 131.7x64x9mm and is also listed in just White colour.
Earlier this month, Obi launched the Obi Crane S550 and Obi Leopard S502, priced at Rs. 8,490 and Rs. 7,490 respectively.
