The Chinese smartphone manufacturer's Indonesian Twitter handle tweeted on Thursday about an upcoming product that which will come with great sound features. The tweetsaid (Twitter translated), "Look forward to the product with the best audio quality excellence & high quality. View our timeline for infonya tomorrow [Friday]."
The tweet came with an image (seen above) of a box that appears to be made of wooden and also includes Oppo logo branding on top. Unfortunately, the company did not reveal any further details of the upcoming product, and it may be anything from an audio-centric smartphone, to a speaker. However, the tweet noted that Oppo will share more details on Friday.
Oppo recently announced official price cuts for the Android-based smartphones, the Oppo N1 and Oppo R1, in India. Chinese manufacturer Oppo slashed the price of the Oppo N1 from its launch price of Rs. 39,999 to Rs. 32,990, making it roughly Rs. 7,000 cheaper. The Oppo R1's (Review) price was slashed from its launch price of 26,990 to Rs. 24,990, making it roughly Rs. 2,000 cheaper.
In June, the Chinese manufacturer launched two new smartphones - the Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a in India, priced at Rs. 37,990 and Rs. 31,990 respectively.
