Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 Compared With Galaxy Alpha in Leaked Video

Samsung has been said to be working on the new Galaxy A-series of smartphones for a while now, a series expected to include the rumoured Galaxy A3 (SM-A300), Galaxy A5 (SM-A500), and Galaxy A7 (SM-A700) - phones that have leaked on multiple occasions in the recent past.

Samsung's rumoured Galaxy A5 (SM-A500), soon after being compared alongside the unannounced Galaxy A3 (SM-A300) and the Galaxy Alpha in purported images, has again been leaked - this time in a video and probably from the same source that had posted the images earlier.

The YouTube video posted by AndroidMX in around 2-minutes shows the alleged Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 handsets in their full glory, sporting metal chamfered edges (and not full metal bezels and side panels like the Galaxy Alpha) that are in-line with recent leaks and rumours.

The rumoured Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 are seen housing the charging port and audio jack at the bottom panel, while the left panel is seen housing the volume rockers and right includes the power button and slots for SIM and microSD card. The back panel of both the unannounced smartphone appear to be similar to the Galaxy Alpha; however, a change in the build material cannot be denied considering the price difference.

Further, the video, first spotted by Slash Gear, shows both the alleged Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 running Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Notably, the video also tips that both the new Galaxy A-series smartphones will feature non-removable back covers.

On Monday, Samsung's rumoured Galaxy A5 (SM-A500) was also leaked in purported render images that showed the handset from all angles, and further corroborated the design that has leaked on several occasions.

The yet-to-be-confirmed price ranges for all the 3 smartphones were also leaked earlier. While the Galaxy A7 is expected to be priced between $450 and $500 (roughly Rs. 24,500-30,500), the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are said to fall under the $400 to $450 (roughly Rs. 24,500-27,500) and $350 and $400 (roughly Rs. 21,000-24,500) price brackets respectively.
