Following last month's rumours dealing with Samsung's Project Zero 2, which talks about the rumoured dual-edge variant of the Galaxy Note 5, a new video now has shown the alleged handset, now said to be called the Galaxy S6 Plus. Also, rumours for Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo have popped up on the Web, hinting at specifications.

The short YouTube video by Marques Brownlee, a popular gadget reviewer, shows the smartphone's front panel and the upper back panel of the alleged Project Zero 2 device or Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus. The images however don't reveal much about the handset besides a slightly changed icon pack. From the front panel with dual-edge display and back panel image, the smartphone strikingly resembles the Galaxy S6 Edge.

As for the specifications, the smartphone is said to feature a 5.4 or 5.5-inch Super-Amoled dual-edge curved display, Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC, 32GB of inbuilt storage, and the same camera setup like the Galaxy S6 - 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The 5.5-inch display puts the rumoured Galaxy S6 Plus in between the flagship Galaxy S and the Galaxy Note line-up that might prove to be a slightly odd decision. It could also challenge sales on several fronts, but looking at the specifications, it will probably cost less than the Galaxy S6 Edge due to the lower-end SoC. When the Project Zero 2 rumours first hit, the smartphone was tipped not to come with S Pen functionality, and that it might support a 'keyboard cover' accessory of some sort.

Meanwhile, in another leak, reported by Sammobile, Samsung might not have completely forgotten its Galaxy S5 line-up and may soon launch the Galaxy S5 Neo (SM-G903F).

As for the specifications, the Galaxy S5 Neo is said to feature the same set of innards as the previous year's flagship but with a different processor and front-facing camera resolution. While the Galaxy S5 sported a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, its Neo variant might come with the company's own 1.6GHz 64-bit octa-core Exynos 5422 chipset and a Mali-T720 GPU. Also, the rumoured smartphone's front-facing camera is said to come with 5-megapixel sensor instead of a 2-megapixel sensor. The handset is also said to sport the same dimensions and the weight.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S5 Neo is tipped to come with LTE-A connectivity, which gives up to four times the speed of a regular 4G LTE connectivity. A dual-SIM version (SM-G903FD) is also being hinted at.
