The company manufactures TVs and monitors, and is one of the biggest players in the display business. It has also made smartphones for the Japanese market. Sharp's latest mobile launch is the Aquos R2 Compact. The mobile was launched in November 2018. The phone comes with a 5.20-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels.

It comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Sharp Aquos R2 Compact packs a 22.6-megapixel (f/1.9) primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies.

The Sharp Aquos R2 Compact runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 2500mAh. It measures 131.00 x 64.00 x 9.30 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 135.00 grams.
