Oppo's premium Reno line of smartphones has been updated with the newly launched Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6, both 5G smartphones that succeed the previous Reno 5 series. Once again, the focus for these phones continues to be slimness and lightness, but they also have more powerful SoCs and new camera features to boast of. Oppo hasn't deviated too far from the tried and tested formula that we've seen in the past, which is both a good and not-so-good thing. We'll get more into this further in the review.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro Summary

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is one of the slimmest and lightest phones in its class, and has the looks to go with that. The display is well-spec’d too. It’s a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ playback certification, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. One of the biggest upgrades to the Oppo Reno 6 Pro is the new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Games ran very well too. Despite the slim body, the back of the phone never got overly hot even after extended gaming sessions.

I found the battery life of the Reno 6 Pro to be pretty solid too. I was easily able to get about a day and half of use, which involved lots of video watching and checking social apps. This phone runs the company’s latest version of ColorOS 11.3, which is very similar in form and function to the version we tested on the Reno 5 Pro 5G (v11.1). The camera setup on the Oppo Reno 6 Pro is pretty much identical to that of the Reno 5 Pro, except for the new Bokeh Flare Portrait filter which is fun and works well.

I bought oppo reno6 pro mobile. It's getting hot with in 10 minutes of display. No apps,sim and data was set up.just wifi was connected.i don't understand if it's a defective piece or the model has this problem..any idea from other buyers..pls reply.

  Same problem with me and there is bettery drain issue and mobile is getting hited. If bettery is 4500 mah so device should work at least 24 hrs but I am getting poor performance of bettery

Most Good Looking Phone

If you've admired Samsung S9 Plus (5 year old phone), then this phone is its re-incarnation and better one. Pros: 1) Unbelievable Good Looks - slim n trim. In hand feel is awesome. Good-feel phone after a long long time. 1.A) Edge display is just wow! 2) One of the finest screens on an Android phone. Better than OP9R and 9. 3) Class leading cameras - upto 10x digital zoom and results (both still images as well as video) are outstanding. 4) Back is scratch resistant - no need for case/cover. 5) Very good if not great battery life. Cons: Single firing speaker. At this price...should 've given stereo speakers. No Headphone jack(but not deal-breaker)

Better Shape and display, OS is good, camera in daylight gives good picture quality but struggles in night mode. Overall camera needs to improve. Otherwise good product.
