In terms of battery capacity, which is the best indicator of overall battery life, it holds 1,500 mAh, a below average battery capacity for a smartphone. The phone's body is 124.97 mm high, 62.99 mm wide, and has a depth of 8.64 mm, 17% thinner than an average smartphone. In fact, it's thin enough to have a case and still be thinner than an average phone.
The phone uses a touch screen keypad to capture user input, which is standard on most modern smartphones.
The Xperia Arc S houses a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255T processor. Its CPU runs at 1.4 GHz, which is somewhat faster than average for a smartphone CPU.
512 MB of RAM means that it has below average RAM than an average smartphone, which will hinder overall phone performance.
