HTC is reportedly working on a follow-up tablet to Flyer, but there is no timeline for its launch right now. The Taiwanese manufacturer has only released one tablet globally, which is HTC Flyer. The other tablet Jetstream 4G was US exclusive.

According to a report in PC Advisor, HTC Spokesperson has told them that this tablet will definitely arrive and company is looking for something unique to offer its consumers.

There is no word on the specifications of this tablet, but one can expect Jelly Bean to be present on it.

Company's first tablet Flyer was originally announced at Mobile World Congress last year and did not see many sales considering the high price. Flyer was launched with Gingerbread on-board, which was not a tablet optimised operating system, another reason for its failure.

Considering that manufacturers have starting targeting the budget market rather than trying to take on Apple iPad, it would be interesting to see which way HTC goes.
