Vivo Pad 5 was launched in China on Thursday, alongside the Vivo S30 series smartphones. The new tablet runs on Android 15-based Origin OS 5 and is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset paired with a maximum 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Vivo Pad 5 comes in three colour options and features a 2.8K resolution display with a 7.1:5 aspect ratio and 144Hz refresh rate. It has an 8-megapixel single rear camera.

The Vivo Pad 5 is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 30,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB RAM and storage variants are priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 34,000), CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 36,000), and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 41,000), respectively. It is currently up for sale in China. It is available in Blueprint, Hundred Powder, Grey is Good (translated from Chinese) colour options.

Vivo Pad 5 Specifications

The Vivo Pad 5 ships with Android 15 with OriginOS 5 for tablets and sports a 12.1-inch 2.8K (2,800×1,968 pixels) LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 7.1:5 aspect ratio. The display offers up to 480Hz touch sampling rate and up to 900 nits peak brightness. It runs on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage.

On its rear, the Vivo Pad 5 sports an 8-megapixel camera. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet has a six-speaker panoramic acoustic system.Vivo Pad 5 also has a 34,200mm sq graphite area for heat dissipation. The tablet includes WPS Office and CAJViewer.

Connectivity options on the Vivo Pad 5 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, OTG and a USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include colour temperature sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor and light sensor. The tablet is compatible with Pencil, Vivo Smart Touch Keyboard, and Vivo Smart Double-Sided Clip (sold separately).

Vivo has packed a 10,000mAh battery on the Pad 5 with 44W fast charging support. The battery is claimed to deliver up to 62 days of standby time on a single charge. It measures 266.43x192x6.62mm and weighs 590g.
