Highlights
  • The new Jio cashback offer will run from January 16 to January 31
  • It is only for Prime users and on recharges of Rs. 398 and above
  • Users will get vouchers worth Rs. 400 and wallet cashback up to Rs. 300

Jio is continuing with its Surprise Cashback Offer even after the scheduled last date for the offer has ended. In the second edition of the Surprise Cashback Offer, Jio Prime users will get up to Rs. 700 total benefits on purchasing recharges of Rs. 398 or more between January 16 and January 31. This comes just a day after the original Jio Surprise Cashback Offer was slated to end, January 15. However, the total benefits have declined steeply this time around, from up to Rs. 3,300 to a maximum of Rs. 700.

Under the new Jio Surprise Cashback offer, subscribers will get the benefits in the form of vouchers and wallet cashbacks – there will be no coupons for discounts on online shopping in the ongoing offer period. In the December 25-January 15 cashback offer, the online shopping discount coupons accounted for a bulk of the benefits, as they amounted to Rs. 2,600 of the total Rs. 3,300 benefits. So, essentially, the offer is roughly the same as before, minus the value of the coupons.

Jio Prime subscribers buying a recharge of Rs. 398 or more will get eight vouchers worth Rs. 50, totalling Rs. 400 in value. These vouchers can be used to deduct Rs. 50 while purchasing future recharge packs.
