On the same day Microsoft began accepting pre-orders for the HoloLens Development Edition and unveiled a shipping date for it, HTC too had something to say about its HTC Vive. The Taiwanese company - which announced the price, pre-orders, and shipping dates for its consumer virtual reality headset at MWC - revealed the international pricing of the HTC Vive VR and stuff it will be offering in the bundle.

Starting with the pricing, the HTC Vive will be available for purchase in a number of regions including Australia (US $899), Japan (JPY 111,999), UK (GBP 689), EU (Eur 899), France (EUR 899), Germany (EUR 899), and Spain (EUR 899). India won't be among the first markets to get the headset. HTC noted that the retail price doesn't include sales tax. The company is accepting payment through PayPal. Those in the United States can snag an HTC Vive at $799 (roughly Rs. 54,500). Also, the company is only accepting one order per account.

HTC announced that the pre-order bundle of the HTC Vive will include Fantastic Contraption and Job Simulator apps. In addition, users will also get Google's Tilt Brush. The app is the VR counterpart of an image editing app such as Microsoft Paint. The app would allow you to create illustrations in 3D environment. The bundle is, however, available for a limited time.
