WhatsApp for iPhone’s beta version reportedly has a new feature that lets you edit or revoke messages you have already sent. This feature is disabled by default and needs to be activated manually. Long pressing on a sent message shows the new edit and revoke options; this WhatsApp feature to revoke sent messages will probably work only in the case if the recipient hasn't seen the message from the sender. There is no word on when Android beta users will get the WhatsApp message editing feature.

Samsung has reportedly concluded the probe into the reasons behind the Galaxy Note 7 explosions. The company has submitted its findings to the Korea Testing Laboratory, UL (an American safety organisation), and other regulatory bodies. TRAI recommends free mobile data for rural subscribers
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recommended a 'reasonable' amount of free data should be provided to mobile users every month. The funds for this free data quota can be met from the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF). As per TRAI recommendations, the free data must be telecom operator agnostic and should not involve any arrangements or deals between Internet service provider and any content provider.

Google Search app may soon get new features
Google is reportedly testing new features such as Offline Search, Lite Mode, and Recent Tab in the official Search app. As the names suggest, the Recent Tab feature will open the last tab closed by a user, while the Lite Mode will rid the page of multimedia elements to load them faster in cases of slow data connectivity. With Offline Search, users will be able to make a search query when they have slow or poor Internet access and will be notified that the results are available whenever the device gets data access in the background.
