FameBit allows content creators and brands to connect for collaborations

Google has finally introduced the FameBit by YouTube marketing app for Android users. The app allows YouTube content creators and influencers to connect with brands for sponsored content, and essentially make some extra money. FameBit has been around for quite some time on the Web and on iPhone, and now Google has introduced it on Android as well. The app is now available for download on Google Play for free, and will be useful for all content creators and brands to connect on the go. At the time of writing, the FameBit app was not available for download in India, and we've reached out to Google asking for more details.

The FameBit Android app, now live on Google Play, has a rather short description stating, "Powered by data, we built the best in class tools to connect brands with the right creators, enabling branded content that reaches the right audience and inspires action." In simple terms, FameBit allows YouTubers and influencers to send proposals to marketers, and touch base with relevant brands that connect best with their audience. The app allows for sending and receiving of messages between the brand correspondent and the content creator to finalise collaboration details and more. There are filters on FameBit that allow you to see relevant brands and creators based on reach, categories, social channels, price, and country.

FameBit was recently in the news after Google accidentally slipped the launch date of the Pixel 3 through a campaign posted on the platform. The description of the campaign shared by the YouTuber showed that the launch of the Pixel 3 is set for October 4. However, that bit of information was not true, as Google has sent out official invites for the Pixel event set for October 9.
