  • B-E-W-A-R-E... KNOWN KEYBOARD ISSUES
    Coolbeans 2016 (Jun 24, 2019) on Gadgets 360
Purchased May 8th, 2018. Expected two years use. Stock keyboard, back light quit by January, 2019. Warranty replacement. As of May 15th, 2019, random keys on this replacement keyboard have quit. No replacements available for purchase. ASUS states "IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE" with these keyboards, yet they offer no further support. $800 paperweight since it cannot be used as designed. I also upgraded with a SanDisk Ultra 3D NAND 1TB SSD & 16GB of memory into this fully expecting a truly great notebook for some years to come. Quick as an Android or iOS device with these upgrades, but without a keyboard it's an overweight tablet a secondary bluetooth keyboard has to be used with...

Love the tablet mode! Haven't really tested out the sound yet but so far it's great.

A bit slow for my taste, but I already knew it before the purchase. The other features are working perfectly till now.

Love that it is like a tablet and computer. So awesome. Biggest problem for me is that the Power button is on the side and when it is flipped like a tablet the keys are exposed and can be pushed.

  • Glitchy when plugged in
Carey Hammer (Oct 1, 2018) on Amazon
This computer is great except when it's plugged in. The touchpad and stylus don't work correctly when the computer is charging. Initially, I thought it was a defect with the single model I received. However, upon sending it in and receiving another, the second one had the same exact issue. ASUS support said they had never heard of the issue before, but both models I received had the same malfunctions. When the computer isn't plugged in, it's a solid and fast laptop. The screen is bright and colorful, and the design is sleek. But I must admit I would invest in another one if you're looking for a more reliable 2-in-1.

  • Very slow computer
Walter W. Cordes II (Feb 8, 2019) on Amazon
While I like the quality and versatility of this 2 - in - 1 laptop, it is very very slow to open and use programs. It is almost unusable as delivered right out of the box. Support was not help;ful. I wish I had known this prior to purchasing. Hopefully I will be able to speed it up and make it more useable.

Very slow and unimpressive - bought it to be a moderately capable 2-in-1 for on the go work with a decent sized screen. The fingerprint reader works a fraction of the time and overall the speed and functionality is very disappointing. I know this isn't a top tier unit but for $650 one should expect significantly more than they are getting.
