Hello friends....I just walked to the ASUS exclusive showroom last day...and bought this laptop.....Core i7 + 8 GB Ram +Windows 10....excellent combination.I have purchased Norton Internet Security also with this...Truth be told...I go this laptop for 55000 INR... + 508 INR for bag + 1200 INR for Norton...Online it is giving only at 59K.... that is coming from Mumbai... I purchased from Kerala...TVM....On paytm mall, you will get cashback of 5000 INR for the price of 59K.Now about Laptop....Build quality is excellent...you will feel the premium look....Asus is known for quality products always...By paying 999 more, i got total 3 years of warranty...Normally 24 months warranty is already there...About performance...its like a grinding machine..you give anything..it will crush in seconds....Display is awesome...Weight is very less...Slim...but not as much as Asus S15 series....Yes...they can improve camera quality...but for normal skype calls..its enough.....Type c port is available...need to check whether i can charge via type c port using Power bank......Well...that's all my experience..... Thanks ASUS.....

Slow startup but while operating it's quite fast. Working smoothly with double boot.

Good performance

Performance and display is amazing. Sound quality is also good. Battery backup for medium using is 3 hrs.Camera quality is very poor compare to my Dell studio laptop using since last 10 years.

Its a great budget laptop you can play gta 5 easily on 40-45 fps it also have ram slot as well as ssd slot through which u can make this laptop more powerful it has i7-8th gen processor which is not available on this price range if u want budget gaming laptop or u have to do video editing then u should go for it, the only problem is that its boot up is slow

i7 8th gen with 2 Gb graphics , what u can expect at this price ?I have bought Asus vivobook from showroom in Lucknow, not from Amazon. After one week battery went down and didn't charging, and having restarting issues. There is a battery problem in this model, everybody reported that.Actually amazon is not fraud. the problem is in that model.After solving the problem laptop working smoothly.

Bang for money.Only disadvantage is no backlight keyboard.

I have purchased the EMEA version of this laptop from Qatar, the price is 47K converted to INR.The performance is good, the build quality is average compared to the Dell latitude laptops that I use for work.This is the 5th laptop, that I'm using and it looks like 3 years old design, not a slim one weigh around 2 Kg.No indication of Caps Lock, Num Lock. No Keyboard backlit.Got another 8 GB RAM and 250GB SSD and put in the CD/DVD ROM slot - EMEA version doesn't have CD/DVD-ROM. I'm least bothered about warranty, so I opened the panel and installed it by myself.47 K Laptop + 5.5K for additional 8 GB Ram + 5.5K for Samsung EVO 250GB SSD = 58K for good performance laptop at least for another 5 years I guess.There's lot of bloatware in windows 10, I prefer Linux is as primary OS.

Performance improved after some use

It is fine for selecting 15.6", i7, 8 th gen, 8gb ram and 1tb HDD. Cheap in this category.

Laptop works good, runs slow during start up but eventually starts running smoothly after a while. Battery life not at all satisfactory as it gives like 2½ hours on a full charge even on normal usage without running any graphic intensive content.Bought the same model on Paytm at 50k.

you will not get an i7 processor at such a cost...but sometimes its processing speed make me think of whether it is originally i7 inside but instantly its turbo boost let my thoughts go away...

It has i7 and thats it, no more features like Backlit keyboard, camera quality is poor, weight and look also very average. Rest all feature are some what less than average

There's no way you can play high end games on high graphics. I played Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildlands on mid graphic 1080p resolution and got 8 fps. Even on low resolution it couldn't reach 24 fps.Still you can do some really good gaming on this.

Performance not good

Seems ok.. bit slow due to low hard disk rpm

I purchased the product about 2 year ago. On opening the laptop it made a twitch sound. I ignored it as I had urgent use of laptop. The laptop booted in too much time and was too slow.(slower then my last pentium laptop). Then i called the technician. He came. Laptop took half an hour to boot infront of him. He opened the laptop. Found one of the hooks broken. Said that twotch sound is because there is some problem with screen screws and it xannot be fixed. He said it will cost around 5000 to get it fixed. Although i had extended warranty of 2 years and it was just 2 months since purchase. I asked him only to format it and give it back.He did and bingo. The laptop started working very very well. Its been 2 years and i still work heavy programs woth 20 chrome tabs open woth no problem. I don't know how it happened but I am happy with the laptop now.

Defective product delivered.booting takes more than 3 minutes, and another 3 minutes for login screen to appear, and another few minutes for the laptop to be up and running...., this for a i7 8th gen Intel chip with a 8GB RAM ASUS laptop. to perform a simple right click + refresh takes more than 47 seconds. task manager window takes more 127 seconds to appear on the screen. I checked the basics of the machine while up and running (memory usage, disk usage, active services, etc), nothing seems to be right. I have uninstalled few preloaded apps, tried to reduce the stress on it by disabling unwanted services, etc, I have not seen any improvement.Beware that return/refund/replacement policy is just 10 days for few items. Outside of that 10 days, we are on our own to deal directly with the manufacturer. It could be that "one" defective out of thousand items, I get to be the unlucky one!! Now I have to deal with the local ASUS service center.Will post an update in a few days.Update as of Oct 14th, 2018:The seller was very much helpful in connecting me to ASUS service center. In fact they followed up multiple times to check if the issue was resolved. I did not have the luxury to hand over the laptop to service center and wait (not sure how long will it take for them....!!?), so, with the help of a friend, formatted and installed Win 10 Pro...., clearing out the most applications that came pre-installed. Now the booting takes under two minutes (which is still way more for a i7 processor), disk usage has come down to 10%. Waking up from sleep mode is lot quicker. Once the machine is up, performance is good enough. However, I feel the original issue (booting time and disk usage) is still unresolved.ProsI must say the battery performance is excellent, lasts about 4.5 hoursExcellent screen resolutiongets charged quickly, takes about 30 minutes to get fully charged from 20%Kindly note that my two star rating is on the product and not on the seller!!
