The game retailer, via its download-to-own scheme, said it will provide more than 700 PC and Mac games from more than 30 publishers, such as Electronic Arts, Deep Silver, Square Enix, Warner Bros amongst others using in the two countries. The company says that the expansion will help it become a global online retailer of video games.
Game4u also says it expects to grow in excess of 100 percent annually and it is targeting over $4 million in revenues over the next three years. "We plan to continue adding features and product categories and will also introduce our coveted loyalty program - Team Elite, to gamers in Singapore and Malaysia very soon," added Jayont R Sharma, Chairman, Milestone Interactive.
The games and game accessories that will be provided by Game4u in Malaysia and Singapore will vary from $4.99-$6.99 across categories and genres and the consumers will have a host of options to pay with, with local options promised soon. Established in 1997, Game4u has stores in cities like Chandigarh, Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Jalandhar and Ludhiana.
"PC gaming is popular in Southeast Asia and we have taken a big step towards achieving our vision by being the first Indian gaming e-retailer to set a digital download store in the region," Sharma added.
