Hot on the heels of Microsoft unleashing the Xbox One S Controller in India without bringing the console, Sony appears to be following the same approach.
Several sources speaking to Gadgets 360 have confirmed that the revamped PS4 controller that ships with the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro will be making it to India. Those in the supply chain have stated that 2,000 units of the controller have been brought into the country.

For its part, Sony has refused to comment on the new DualShock 4 or the availability of the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in India. There is a possibility that the PS4 Slim might hit India before the PS4 Pro, as multiple sources have confirmed that the company is mulling over the rate of 4K adoption in the nation before finalising on a date, which is possibly early next year.
Should we expect an official announcement soon? Perhaps. Although with new bundles featuring the original PS4, we’d speculate that Sony could hold off an India launch date and price for the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro until early next year.

This variant of the PS4 controller — also known as the DualShock 4 - has a modified light bar so you can see what colour is emanating from it while playing without having to tilt it.
Also, you can allow for it to relay button presses via USB connection, making it ideal for games that require split second response times, such as Street Fighter V. The new DualShock 4 works with older PS4 consoles as well.
