Some Xbox One deals include the The Telltale Games Collection which includes both seasons of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series for Rs. 1,221 (as opposed to Rs. 3,700), Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for Rs. 1,396 (regular price of Rs. 3,490), FIFA 16 for Rs. 2,400 (actual price is Rs. 4,000), and Need for Speed for Rs. 2,400 (from Rs.4,000).

On the Xbox 360, you can snag Gears of War for Rs. 247.17 (retails for Rs. 749), Mass Effect for Rs. 199.80 (instead of Rs. 999), and The Secret of Monkey Island for Rs. 112.50 (normally Rs. 450).

And this is just the beginning. According to a post by Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb we can expect a flurry of discounts well into next week.

"New weekend deals will be announced on November 27, with huge savings on games like Witcher 3, Rare Replay, Destiny: The Taken King and more," the post reads. You can view the deals for Xbox One here and Xbox 360 here.

Keep in mind that deals for those without Xbox Live Gold will be available from Tuesday. In order to promote Xbox Live Gold subscriptions, Microsoft says Xbox owners in the US can upgrade to Xbox Live Gold for $1 (Rs. 66) for the first month. Indian users can upgrade to Xbox Live Gold for Rs. 50 for the first month.

While it's nice to see Xbox games getting cheaper, most of them on the Xbox One are in the range of 30 to 40GB while on the Xbox 360 they're around 5GB to 8GB. Something to be careful of before pulling the trigger on a bunch of games only to realise you may not have the bandwidth to download them all.
