Huawei Mate X2 mobile was launched on 22nd February 2021. The phone comes with a 6.45-inch touchscreen primary display offering a resolution of 1160x2700 pixels at a pixel density of 456 pixels per inch (ppi). It also features a 8.00-inch touchscreen as its second display, with a resolution of 2200x2480 pixels at a pixel density of 413 pixels per inch (ppi). Huawei Mate X2 is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 9000 processor. It comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The Huawei Mate X2 runs Android 10 and is powered by a 4500mAh battery. The Huawei Mate X2 supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Mate X2 on the rear packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.9) primary camera; a 16-megapixel (f/2.2) camera; a 12-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and an 8-megapixel (f/4.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Huawei Mate X2 runs EMUI 10.1 is based on Android 10 and packs 256GB, 512GB of inbuilt storage (up to 256GB). The Huawei Mate X2 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Huawei Mate X2 measures 161.80 x 74.60 x 14.70mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 295.00 grams. It was launched in Bright Black, Ice Crystal Blue, Ice Crystal Powder, and White Glaze colours.

Connectivity options on the Huawei Mate X2 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) , and 5G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Huawei Mate X2 supports face unlock.
