iPhone Air has finally arrived after months of leaks and speculations. It launched alongside the iPhone 17 series that includes the familiar participants - iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. But jumping to iPhone Air isn't easy if you're still juggling your physical SIM cards from one device to another. I had to wait until an International launch event that offered me a chance to take an eSIM and use the iPhone Air as my primary device for all things. The e-SIMs provide flexibility, convenience, and security, which I will discuss in the review.

iPhone Air Summary

iPhone Air mobile was launched on 9th September 2025. The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.50-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1260x2736 pixels at a pixel density of 460 pixels per inch (ppi). iPhone Air is powered by a hexa-core Apple A19 Pro processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The iPhone Air supports wireless charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the iPhone Air on the rear packs a 48-megapixel camera with an f/1.6 aperture. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 18-megapixel sensor with an f/1.9 aperture.

iPhone Air is based on iOS 26 and packs 256GB, 512GB, 1TB of inbuilt storage. The iPhone Air is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts eSIM and eSIM cards. The iPhone Air measures 156.20 x 74.70 x 5.64mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 165.00 grams. It was launched in Space Black, Cloud White, Light Gold, and Sky Blue colours.

Connectivity options on the iPhone Air include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v6.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) , and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass/ magnetometer.
