I have owned all the phones. The new iPhone. The baddest most latest HTC joint with the beats speakers and software. I have had numerous Samsung's, actually the first Galaxy ever was my first smartphone ever. So the one thing that all smartphones have is the way they break when dropped face down. All cellphones break the same way regardless of their sticker price. The last time I broke a phone that cost over $500 I vowed never again. So I did some research and it just happened to be that Sprint was giving the Kyocera duraforce pro away for free with activation of a new plan. The duraforce was number 3 to 5 on most best rugged phones lists that I reviewed, so I purchased 2 of them. And I cannot tell you how happy I am with the phone even with it's very few limitations or technological restrictions. This phone is waterproof, heat proof, freeze proof, vibration proof, dust proof, moisture proof, vibration proof and has a saphire screen to boot. Basically it's the Navy seal commando of cell phones. Don't get me wrong there are other rugged phones out there and they are probably worth the extra money you will pay for them. But for my budget and lifestyle demands the Kyocera duraforce pro is the bees knees. I have dropped it, taken underwater photos, loaded it with apps and gigs and gigs of music and photos. I watch Hulu on this phone and make recording of music that are YouTube quality and therefore are posted on YouTube. This phone does everything I need it to and then some, but above it's function it gives me the piece of mind that if I drop it somehow or there is a mishap it's not going to break and that is priceless. I don't have to baby this phone at all. Which is nice because I see some folks handling their phone like it is a fabrage egg or something. Not me, I'm running and gunning rough and tumble ready to go super active lifestyle .So glad I picked this phone .
