OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are all set to be unveiled on May 14. These much-anticipated OnePlus phones have already been teased multiple times and have also been part of the rumour mill as well as leaks in their run up to the launch. Leaks suggest that OnePlus 7 will be closer to its predecessor OnePlus 6T in not just the design but also a number of features, whereas OnePlus 7 Pro is going to emerge as the true new flagship of the company. The smartphone will sport a new design with pop-up selfie camera and feature an all-screen front. Set to run on the company's Android 9 Pie-based OxygenOS, the new OnePlus phones will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC. In addition to the two phones, OnePlus is also likely to announce a 5G smartphone in the form of OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, which will have similar specifications to the Pro model with added 5G support.

As we await the official launch of the new OnePlus smartphones, here's everything we know so far about the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro price in India

The new OnePlus 7 Pro phone is said to priced starting at Rs. 49,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the phone is said to carry a price tag of Rs. 52,999. Furthermore, the top-of-the-line OnePlus 7 Pro model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is said to be available in the country at Rs. 57,999. There is no word on the India pricing of the OnePlus 7 at this point, however it is likely to be closer to the launch price of OnePlus 6T in the country.

To recall, the OnePlus 6T was launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 37,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, going up to Rs. 45,999 for the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The smartphone, however, recently got a price cut to make way for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro and currently starts at Rs. 34,999.

Amazon India has also put up a dedicated page for users to be notified, whereas the OnePlus physical stores, Croma and Reliance Digital stores are currently accepting pre-bookings for the phone. The launch will take place at 8:15pm IST in India, and simultaneously in the US and Europe.

Outside India, OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly be priced at EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 54,700) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, EUR 749 (roughly Rs. 58,600) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option, and EUR 819 (roughly Rs. 64,100) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option in Europe. The US pricing of the phone is unclear at this point.

OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro specifications, key features

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in an interview with The Verge confirmed that OnePlus will be launching two flagship smartphones - the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. He added that the latter smartphone will be 5G-enabled, and it would also feature a "super-smooth and very crisp" display - something that fits well with the rumour that the smartphone would sport a 90Hz display with a QHD+ resolution. The company has revealed that the OnePlus 7 Pro display will be HDR 10+ certified.

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro both are speculated to debut with Android Pie out-of-the-box. As per the latest leak, The OnePlus 7 is tipped to come with a 6.4-inch (1080x2340 pixels) flat display with a waterdrop-style display notch, whereas the OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly sport a 6.7-inch curved Quad HD+ (1440x3120 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pop-up front camera. The OnePlus 7 Pro is also rumoured to have a display refresh rate of 90Hz.

In terms of the imaging capabilities, the OnePlus 7 is likely to have a dual rear camera setup, with a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, assisted by a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The OnePlus 7 Pro is claimed to come equipped with a triple rear camera set-up that will consist of a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.6 aperture and OIS as well as EIS for stabilisation. It will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 3X zoom capability, and a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degrees field of view.

The OnePlus 7 is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC and will be offered in two variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The battery capacity is tipped to be 3,700mAh with support for 20W charging. On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 Pro is also said to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC, and be made available in 6GB/ 128GB, 8GB/ 256GB, and 12GB/ 256GB variants, with the onboard storage standard being UFS 3.0 for faster data transfer.

The 6GB RAM variant of OnePlus 7 Pro will only be available in Mirror Grey colour option at launch, while the 12GB variant will be offered in just Nebula Blue colour option. The OnePlus 7 Pro 8GB RAM option will be made available in three colours – Nebula Blue, Mirror Grey, and Almond.

Early case renders suggested the presence of a SIM tray at the bottom of the OnePlus 7. The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are also expected to come with a USB Type-C port. Further, the phones would have wireless charging support.

The OnePlus 7 Pro with model number GM1915 was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site recently. The online listing highlighted the presence of Bluetooth v5.0 on the new model. Also, the OnePlus 7 Pro is rumoured to have a 4,000mAh battery supporting Warp Charge 30W fast charging tech.

A recent report showcasing the OnePlus 7 renders claimed that the phone will measure 157.7x74.8x8.1mm, though its camera bump will take it to 9.5mm of thickness. The OnePlus 7 Pro will measure at 162.6x75.9x8.8mm, and the phone will weigh 210 grams.

As we mentioned, OnePlus is also likely to launch the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G variant alongside the regular OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The 5G variant would have Qualcomm's Snapdragon X50 modem. A poster revealing the new tagline 'Go Beyond Speed' surfaced on Weibo recently that could be used on the marketing materials for the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G variants.
