If you're looking to speed up your computer, replacing your old hard drive with a solid state drive is one of the smartest ways to do just that. The Samsung 840 Evo SATAIII SSD 250GB is now available for Rs. 9,060 on Amazon India. The SSD weighs just around 57 grams, and is 7mm thick. There's a three year warranty that comes with the drive. 250GB should be just enough space to get your most essential apps, files, and data on the solid-state drive for quick access.

Price: Rs. 9,060 (MRP: Rs. 18,427)

3. Flat Rs. 3,000 off on select laptops and cashback on EMI
If you're in the market for a new laptop, you might want to check this list on Flipkart. The company is offering a discount of Rs. 3,000 on select laptops. The list includes laptops from Lenovo's Essential and Ideapad series, HP Pavilion, Dell Inspiron, Sony, Acer, and Toshiba. Some of these laptops also include bundled discount offers for hard drives and printers.

In case you buy a laptop on a credit card EMI offer, you can also get the bank interest charged to you as cashback. Since RBI has banned interest free EMIs, banks now charge you an interest. With offers like these, you get that interest, or at least a big chunk of it, back. That effectively makes these offers interest-free. EMI options are currently only available ICICI and HDFC Bank cards. Cashback doesn't include any extra taxes.
