Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with OnePlus. Under the partnership, consumers can have hands-on experience of the new OnePlus 2 across 50 Airtel stores in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai starting Friday.

The largest telecom provider in the country is also offering consumers a chance to receive an invite for the OnePlus 2 (Review) smartphone by upgrading their existing SIM for an Airtel 4G SIM. Airtel however notes that the invites will be handed out on a first-come-first-serve basis to customers with an Airtel 4G connection citing limited number of invites available. For non-Airtel subscribers, the company notes that users can buy a new Airtel 4G postpaid connection to get a chance to receive the OnePlus 2 invite.

The company also announced that the offer will be rolling out to more Airtel stores in 4G-enabled cities soon. Users can head to airtel.in/oneplus2 for the list of stores offering the new deal.

For those unaware, the OnePlus 2 smartphone is available to buy via Amazon India for customers who have an invite to buy the handset.

Notably, this is the second partnership in recent weeks that involves OnePlus in India. Recently, Ola partnered with OnePlus to offer invites to the OnePlus 2 by using a special recharge code in the app.
