The Coolpad Note 3 Lite budget smartphone that was launched in January this year at a price tag of Rs. 6,999 was until now available to buy via flash sales. Coolpad India has now announced that the Note 3 Lite will be available without registrations from Tuesday this week.

The announcement was made via Coolpad India's Twitter handle over the weekend. The handset will be available via Amazon India in open sales starting Wednesday, the company said, "Yes thats true! Lite will be available on Open Sale. Go ahead & buy yours from 22 Mar, 2016!," said the tweet.

The dual-SIM dual-4G Coolpad Note 3 Lite runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Cool UI 6.0, and features a 5-inch IPS display with an HD (720x1280) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM - which can be considered the highlight of the device at this price point. Another highlight is its fingerprint sensor, placed on the back panel below the camera module.

The company added that VoLTE (voice over LTE) functionality would also be made available, though did not specify the timeline for release.
