Just last month we had reported that HTC may be working on a successor to its flagship smartphone the One X. Now the specs of the HTC One X+ have leaked, courtesy Twitter user @Football4PDA, an XDA-Developers member.

The tweet gives detailed specs regarding the dimensions, processor, OS and the battery powering the HTC One X+. The smartphone will measure 134.36 x 69.9 x 9.3mm and weigh 129 grams. Under the hood, it will feature an Nvidia AP37 1.6GHz quad-core processor and a 1.7GHz single core, 32GB ROM and 1GB RAM.

The device will run on Android's Jelly bean OS and and feature HTC's latest Sense 4.5 UI on top. It will be powered by an 1800mAh battery.

Codenamed Endeavour C2 , we first learned of the device's being according to a report by Stuff. The only detail listed in the report was that the device is expected to launch on or before October 1. The online tech blog also mentioned that apart from a sequel to the One X, the Taiwanese manufacturer is rumoured to be working on another 5-inch full HD smartphone, likely to compete with Samsung's Galaxy Note 2.

More details regarding the HTC One X+ are likely to surface at a press event hosted by HTC on September 19 in New York. Apart from this, the company is also expected to launch two new tablets at the event.

One tablet features a 7-inch screen with 1280X768-pixel display, Android Jelly Bean with HTC's Sense UI atop, a Snapdragon S4 processor, a 3-megapixel rear camera and 1-megapixel front camera. The other tablet is rumoured to sport a 10-inch screen powered by a Tegra 3 processor. This is the same tablet that had leaked online just a few days back. Other specifications aren't clear, except for the fact it will come with 1GB RAM and will sport an unusual design.
