HTC has been making a lot of waves ever since the launch of its flagship smartphone, HTC One. In the recent times, there have been news reports that HTC is planning to launch a phablet device.

Now, Twitter user @evleaks has mentioned that this phablet device has been codenamed T6. It is noteworthy, that in the past, @evleaks has come out with fairly accurate information regarding unaccounted devices and we will not be surprised if he manages to hit the bull's eye even with this leak.

Furthermore, a news report by HTC Soku suggests that phablet device by HTC is being developed in five different versions. Each of these iterations comes with a different radio frequency to be able to cater to separate set of radios for different regions of the world.

As of now there is not much information regarding the specifications of this T6 device or when it will see the light of the day. However, given that HTC is trying hard to make a mark in the Android devices market, we expect that the company will be looking at a short term window for the launch of this product.

Interestingly, there have also been news reports about HTC planning to launch a version of HTC One with stock Android. This smartphone is expected to debut in the coming two weeks, as per a report.

This news report has been published by Geek.com, which had also informed about Google Edition of Samsung Galaxy S4. The new version of HTC One is expected to run on the stock build of Android 4.2.2. The same news sources also state that this version of HTC One will first go on sale in US. However, it's not clear if the Google edition of the HTC One will be sold by Google on the Play Store or HTC will be directly selling it to the end customers.
