iBall, a day after introducing its Slide Brace-X1 tablet at Rs. 17,999, has reportedly made two smartphones - the iBall Xotic and iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D - available at Rs. 7,999 each in India. The smartphones are supposedly 'in stock' with one of the Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom.

The Facebook posts by the retailer also reveal the specifications of the handsets. However, not all the details are available. The iBall Xotic, which was first teased earlier this month, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone is equipped with a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution IPS display and houses 2GB of RAM. The image however fails to reveal any information about the SoC.

Besides an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash, the iBall Xotic also includes a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. 16GB of inbuilt storage and a 2000mAh battery are also onboard. Details on the smartphone's dual-SIM capability, storage expandability and connectivity features are yet to be known.

As for the iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D, the handset's design appears to be copied from the iPhone 6, as seen in the image. The dual-SIM dual-standby smartphone features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution IPS display with pixel density of 312ppi. Like the iBall Xotic, the Cobalt Oomph 4.7D also runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Powered by a Cortex-A7 based quad-core 1.3GHz processor, the smartphone houses 1GB of RAM.

An 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera comes equipped inside the handset along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Other specifications shown are 8GB of inbuilt storage and a 1650mAh battery. GPS, A-GPS, FM radio, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity options are also featured.

iBall is yet to announce the smartphones officially and confirm the specifications suggested by the retailer. The India-based tech firm is said to have surpassed Samsung in India in terms of tablet shipments during Q4 2014, as per figures by IDC.
