iberry Auxus Nuclea N2 with octa-core chip, Android 4.2 launched at Rs. 23,990

iberry has launched the Auxus Nuclea N2 smartphone in India, at Rs. 23,990. The company also announced a limited 10-day introductory offer price of Rs.19,990 for consumers. However, the offer can only be availed through the company's site.

The iberry Auxus Nuclea N2 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which the company claims will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat by end of Q1 2014 via an over-the-air (OTA) update. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality with one micro-SIM and the other regular-sized. The Auxus Nuclea N2 features a 5.7-inch full-HD display with OGS technology and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor alongside 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

The Auxus Nuclea N2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and auto-focus. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed details about front-camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, EDGE, GPRS, GPS/AGPS and 3G.

Recently, iberry launched two new Android 4.2 devices in India, the Auxus Xenea X1 smartphone, and Auxus CoreX8 3G tablet. The iberry Auxus Xenea X1 and Auxus CoreX8 3G were priced at Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 23,990 respectively for the Indian market.

The Auxus Xenea X1 smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It features a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT658 processor with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The other device launched, the iberry Auxus CoreX8 3G voice-calling tablet that comes with SIM support. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and supports OTA updates. The tablet features a 7.85-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.8GHz Samsung Exynos 5 octa-core processor with a PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and 2GB of RAM.
