Intex Aqua Xtreme II With 5-Inch Display, Octa-Core SoC Launched at Rs. 9,590

Intex has launched a new budget Aqua-series smartphone, the Aqua Xtreme II, priced at Rs. 9,590. The smartphone is available to buy from online retailers.

The Intex Aqua Xtreme II is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The Aqua Xtreme II's rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options like most of the other smartphones by the firm.

On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Xtreme II offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, FM radio and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery, rated to deliver talk time of 8 hours along with a standby time of 300 hours. It measures 140x71.9x7.9mm; weighs 132 grams, and will be available in White, Black, Champagne and Silver colours.

The handset comes pre-installed with apps including Ask Me, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, Start, Dr. Safety, Teen Patti, Truecaller, Lets Buy Intex, and Intex Zone. Users would also be able to set shortcuts for their most used apps on the lock screen.
