Lava seems all set introduce its next budget smartphone, the Iris 405+, successor to the Iris 405.

The Lava Iris 405+ is now listed at an e-commerce website without pricing, though offers a 'Notify Me' option to consumers. The company is yet to unveil the Iris 405+ for the Indian market.

The Lava Iris 405+ runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is a dual-SIM smartphone (GSM+GSM) with dual standby support. It features a 4-inch WVGA display with 480x800 pixels resolution and offers a pixel density of 233ppi. The Iris 405+ is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor (unspecified chipset) along with 512MB of RAM.

It sports a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and also includes a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. The Lava Iris 405+ packs a 1400mAh battery which, as per the Flipkart's listing, can deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 657 hours standby time. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS/ AGPS and 3G.

The Lava Iris 405+ measures 125x64x9mm and weighs about 127 grams. It also includes a host of sensors like G sensor, motion sensor, and proximity sensor. The Lava Iris 405+ comes preloaded with some apps such as Facebook, NDTV, Subway Surfer, Temple Run 2, WhatsApp, Bookmyshow, and Times of India.

Lava launched the Iris 405 alongside Iris 455 in May, 2013.

Recently, the domestic handset maker launched the 3G 402+ budget smartphone at Rs. 6,499.

The Lava 3G 402+ is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It sports a 4.0-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The 3G 402+ is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (unspecified chipset) coupled with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 3-megapixel rear camera with flash, while it also houses a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Lava 3G 402+ budget smartphone will be available in Metallic Grey, Metallic Brown, and Ivory White colour variants.
