Initially announced in India for Rs. 19,990, the LG Optimus L7 is now retailing for a reduced price of Rs. 15,990 on Flipkart.

The LG Optimus L7 was first spotted at the Mobile World Congress this year and was coined as the Korean manufacturer's flagship device, until the company launched its successor, the L9.

Before the Optimus L7 officially launched in June, the smartphone was already available with the online shopping portal for a listed price of Rs. 18,990 alongside the Optimus Max 3D. In a way this seems like a second price cut for the smartphone, which is a decent choice for users looking to purchase a mid-range device at such a price.

The smartphone, which is a part of the L-series, sports a 4.3-inch WVGA touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0. it comes with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. The internals feature a 1 GHz processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB of built-in storage.

On the connectivity front, the device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and DLNA. The smartphone also comes with an LG Mobile TV application that allows you to watch live TV on-the-move.
