LG had introduced its L-Series smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) last year. It now seems that the company is looking at refreshing some smartphones in this range. If grapevine is to be believed then LG is all set to launch a successor to LG Optimus L7 in this month.

According to a Russian website, hi-tech.mail.ru, this smartphone is expected to be called LG Optimus L7 II Dual and will be launched in Russia sometime this month for 12,990 rubles, which translates to roughly $433. Like the name suggests, it will be a dual-SIM smartphone and be available in black and white colour options. LG Optimus L7 II Dual will also have 'hot key', which will make it easier for the consumer to switch between the SIMs.

The website further claims that the phone will feature a 4.3-inch IPS-display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera and 2460 mAh battery. It is expected to have Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on-board. As of now there is no word on which other markets will be getting LG Optimus L7 II Dual.

Hopefully we might get to see this device at the forthcoming MWC 2013. It is expected that the Korean smartphone maker may announce a couple of new members in the L-Series at the event. There are also speculations doing the rounds that LG may launch a new F-series at MWC.
