Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G Reportedly Launched at Rs. 9,999

Samsung's 4G-enabled Galaxy Core Prime 4G was launched in February and was then set to be made available in India in March. However, the smartphone never did release in March, but according an established Mumbai-based retailer, the Galaxy Core Prime 4G has now gone on sale in India.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G is said to be available at Rs. 9,999 and come with free bundled offers from the company. According to Mahesh Telecom, the Galaxy Core Prime 4G comes with up to 3GB free 4G data on Airtel network; free Hungama premium offer (with 3 months) subscription, and Vuclip prime offer (with 3 months subscription).

It's worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G, as of now, is not listed on the company's India e-store.

Initially announced in February, the Galaxy Core Prime 4G was unveiled alongside Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and Galaxy J1 4G.

The Galaxy Core Prime 4G supports TDD-LTE (2300) 4G networks used in India. The 3G-variant of the smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is already available in the Indian market.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G, much like its 3G variant, runs Android 4.4 KitKat and features dual-SIM support, a 4.5-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) PLS (plane-to-line switching) TFT LCD display, and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front camera on board.

The Galaxy Core Prime 4G measures 131.3x68.4x8.8mm, sports matte body finish with metal sides. It will be available in Charcoal Grey, White, and Silver colours. On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, NFC, Glonass, A-GPS, and Bluetooth options. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery.

Last month, Samsung silently launched its Grand Neo Plus smartphone, which was listed on the company's official online India store priced at Rs. 9,999.
