Samsung representatives have reportedly hinted that the firm has already created a QHD (Quad-HD, i.e. 2K) Super AMOLED mobile display panel with a massive 560ppi pixel density. The representative added that the company has an even better display under works, to be specific, a UHD (Ultra-HD, i.e. 4K) display.

Quoting the representatives speaking at the Samsung Semiconductor and Display Technology Roadmap workshop, Daum reported that Samsung will also be showcasing its UHD smartphones soon.

While the QHD display has a 1440 x 2560 pixel (2K) resolution and us said to fit in a 5.2 or 5.3-inch screen size, the purported UHD display on the other hand comes with a 2160 x 3480 pixel (4K) resolution, along with a crazy 860ppi pixel count that will be stuffed in a sub 5-inch display size,

While UHD display smartphones seems little far-fetched for the firm, it is quite possible with much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone will arrive with a QHD display, which is said to be already available with the firm.

Since there is no official word from Samsung regarding the display of its Galaxy S5 handset, one would have to wait till the smartphone gets officially launched.

According to certain predictions made by analysts, the smartphone might come with a plastic body, feature a 32-bit SoC, and come with fingerprint scanner.

It has been also claimed that Samsung, following its tradition for high-end smartphones, will again launch the alleged Galaxy S5 equipped with two different processors. The 'Prime' variant of the Galaxy S5 will be powered by company's own Exynos 5430 octa-core 32-bit processor, while the 'Standard' version will equip the Qualcomm's MSM8974 AC quad-core 32-bit processor.
