After the launch of Spice Smart Flo Pace-2 phablet, another dual-SIM budget smartphone from the company has been spotted. The Spice Smart Flo Pace Mi-422 is now available for sale on Saholic for Rs. 4,790.

The smartphone has a 4-inch TFT LCD display and is loaded with Android 4.0 (Ice cream sandwich) OS. The phone is powered by a 1GHz single core processor alongside 512MB of RAM. It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. Similar to Smart Flo Pace 2, the phone offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity but lacks 3G. It offers only 2G (EDGE) connectivity. The device is supported by a 1,300mAh battery.

The Korean smartphone maker Samsung has launched Galaxy Star last week at a similar price point. Samsung Galaxy Star will give a tough competition to Spice Smart Flo Pace. Up till now Spice has been offering Android Gingerbread smartphones under Rs. 5,000 and this is its first phone with Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS at this price point. However, the competition has already marched ahead of Spice as Samsung Galaxy Star runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Star, the Spice Smart Flo Pace-2 will also be competing with the likes of the Nokia Asha Series smartphones and other offerings from Karbonn and Micromax such as the Karbonn Smart A2+ which comes with similar specifications.
