Porsche Design is a premium-lifestyle brand founded in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. The company's vision is to bring the principles and spirit of Porsche to beyond the automotive world. Porsche Design products are created by the Studio F. A. Porsche in Austria, and sold in exclusive stores or luxury retailers. Porsche Design's latest mobile launch is the Huawei Mate 9. The mobile was launched in November 2016. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels.

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 packs a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 156.90 x 78.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 190.00 grams.

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 is a single SIM (GSM) mobile that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
