Wiio Mobiles, started in October 2014, is a brand focused on Android smartphones. This is another of the Android phone makers based in India. Its focus is also making affordable smartphones powered by Google's Android OS. The company has products in the sub-Rs. 5,000 price bracket for sale in the Indian market. Wiio's latest mobile launch is the Wi Star 3G. The mobile was launched in January 2015. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels at a PPI of 194 pixels per inch.
The Wiio Wi Star 3G is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor and it comes with 512MB of RAM. The phone packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Wiio Wi Star 3G packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Wiio Wi Star 3G runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 2000mAh removable battery. It measures 145.50 x 77.50 x 9.80 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 164.00 grams.
The Wiio Wi Star 3G is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Regular and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
