Samsung Galaxy S9 is all set to be launched at MWC 2018 in February. Android enthusiasts Roydon Cerejo and Aditya Shenoy join host Pranay Parab to talk about our expectations from the smartphone. We begin this episode by mentioning the smartphone’s launch event and what the leaks so far have told us about its design. The leaks have ensured that Samsung doesn’t have much left to reveal at the event and we discuss the possible changes that could improve the overall user experience.

Next, we talk about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the variants that the company could launch in India. This is where we talk about the international variants as well and how much storage and RAM most people need. Then we mention the camera and talk about the how this has become a big battle ground for smartphone manufacturers in the world. Here we mention what the leaks claim and try to speculate on how the company could use this to its advantage. Then we talk about the smartphone camera industry and how Samsung can do something different here. The company has some catching up to do in this space, and we speculate what it can do better in this field to get ahead of the competition.

Finally, we talk about the expected price of the Samsung Galaxy S9. We discuss whether its price is expected to rise thanks to the iPhone X and whether the Indian market will see a price that isn’t entirely unreasonable. We discuss the pricing strategy Samsung has been following before concluding the podcast by talking about the competition.
