Lenovo Launches Android Tablets and Windows 10 Hybrids at MWC 2016

Lenovo, besides unveiling its Vibe K5 Plus and the Vibe K5 smartphones at the MWC 2016, also took the wraps off a number of Android 6.0 Marshmallow tablets and Windows 10 laptops. In the tablet section, the Chinese firm has launched its Lenovo Tab3 7, Tab3 8, and Tab3 10 Business. As for the convertibles, Lenovo has launched the Yoga 710 laptop, the Flex 4 (Yoga 510 internationally) laptop, and the Ideapad Miix 310.

Starting with the tablets, the Lenovo Tab3 7 and the Tab3 8 feature 7-inch and 8-inch displays and are available in White, Black, Cyan, and Pink colour variants. The larger Lenovo Tab3 10 Business is meant for enterprise use. The Tab3 7 starts at $129 (Wi-Fi only), while the Tab3 8 and the Tab3 10 come with $99 and $199 base prices respectively. The Tab3 10 Business will reach the shelves in July this year, while the Tab3 7 and the Tab3 8 will be available starting June.

The Lenovo Tab3 7 (seen above) features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1GHz, clubbed with 1GB RAM. It houses 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. A 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera are also included in the tablet, which comes with a 4G LTE-enabled variant.

The Lenovo Tab3 8 (seen above) sports an 8-inch 1280x800 pixels IPS display alongside all the similar specifications carried by the Tab3 7 tablet. Its 4G LTE model is priced at $149. The Tab3 7 and Tab3 8 also come with Kids Mode, Adaptive Display Technology.

As for the Lenovo Tab3 10 Business (seen below), the tablet houses a full-HD 10-inch IPS display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 2GB RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Work, includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The LTE model comes at $50 more. The 3GB RAM+64GB inbuilt storage model costs $299. It will arrive in Black colour variant along with IP52 splash-proof certification, and Face Unlock. The tablet comes with Kiosk Mode, scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 panels. As for connectivity, the tablet sports NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi AC, GPS, RJ45 cables and card readers, and Dolby Atmos audio tech.

As for the convertibles, the Chinese tech firm took the wraps off its Yoga 710, which comes in 11-inch and 14-inch display sizes. While the 11-inch model is priced at $499, the 14-inch model is priced at $799. They will hit the shelves in May this year. The Yoga 710 features a full-HD IPS display and can be configured by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB SSD storage. The 11-inch model additionally comes with an option to house any of the Intel Core M (up to M5) processors, while the 14-inch variant can include 6th-Gen Intel Core processors (up to Core i7), and up to Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics. Like its other Yoga-branded siblings, the Yoga 710 keyboard can also rotate 360-degrees.

The Lenovo Flex 4will be hitting the shelves in April and will be priced at $599 for the 14-inch, or $699 for 15-inch model. It bears a full-HD display and can be configured by up to Intel Core i7 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD storage, and AMD Radeon R7 M460 2GB GPU. The company claims up to 8.5 hours of battery life for the laptop.

Lastly, the Lenovo Ideapad Miix 310 (seen above) priced at $229 (base price) will be available to buy in June this year. The convertible laptop is powered by an Intel Atom x5-8300 CPU with integrated graphics. It sports up to 10.1-inch full-HD display, up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB eMMC storage. It will also be available in LTE connectivity variant in future. The convertible laptop is said to run for up to 10 hours on a single charge.
