Google has updated its photo app for iOS that is sure to delight users. You may remember an app called Motion Stills that was released by Google in June. The app could fix the shakes seen in iOS Live Photos. Google has now brought that functionality to its own photos app with a new update.

The standalone Motion Stills app allows you to enhance Live Photos and make non-shaky, easy-to-share gif images. The advanced stabalisation feature also lets you create moving images with frozen backgrounds, or wide-pan shots, or videos with a cinematic feel to it. All of the same features can now be found in Google's new Photos 2.0. However, those who want advanced editing features from Motion Stills will need to download the app.

The new update also makes it easier to share your videos directly to the YouTube app. Once you've edited a Live Photo, Google Photos now lets you export the video to your camera roll. So, you can now share those little gifs with friends who own Android devices.
