Facebook's WhatsApp in recent months has added a lot of features including end-to-end encryption across messages and file sharing features. A new report claims that the most popular instant messaging service is all set to add more features in the coming weeks.

Phone Radar, citing translation requests, reports that WhatsApp for Android and iOS will soon get a 'call back' feature which will allow users to call back friends with just a tap of button without opening the app. The button will be visible in the notification panel, alongside a WhatsApp missed call notification. The messaging service is also said to bring voicemail feature to iOS platform, according to the report.

As expected from the voicemail feature, WhatsApp will allow users to record and send voicemails to contacts. The report says that the voicemail feature will show up when user is currently on a WhatsApp voice call.

Lastly, the report claims that after adding support for sending and receiving pdf files apart from Docs, Sheets, and Slides files, WhatsApp will gain zip file sharing feature. This will allow users to exchange heavy files via WhatsApp. We can expect that WhatsApp may be testing the new features with its beta testing programme members.
