Wow! This little guy works like a charm. It?s the perfect size, is speedy, the screen looks nice. It?s a Chromebook + Android Tablet in a premium, lightweight body. Seriously just delighted I purchased this.

Way more useful than an iPad and a substantially lower price!

This is a small notebook. (See pictures comparing it to a 15" MacBook Pro and a Samsung S8+ phone.) I'm carefully reviewing the hardware here, not Chromebooks in general. But: know the tradeoffs compared to Windows or Mac notebooks. With Chromebooks you will get low cost, great security, ease of management, and secure cloud backups of everything you do, but lose access to many apps, not have tons of local storage, and be a bit "different" than most everyone you work with. Having said that, the world is heading this direction. IMHO a simplified device such as this can grow up to have access to all the apps anyone would want, and will become mainstream.OK, to the hardware. It's great for what it is. Yes, the screen is small (and the bezels are big by modern standards). But the keyboard is fantastic, the CPU is fast, it has *enough* storage to keep enough music and pictures for when you're not attached to the internet; I even downloaded a few Netflix programs to watch on a plane flight. The wifi works well. Bluetooth is great. It has ports! As a MacBook sufferer, I can tell you life with only USB-C stinks. This notebook has USB-3.1, USB-C and a micro-SD slot. Woah!The Google apps (docs, slides, sheets, etc.) work flawlessly. Same with the "simplified" versions of Microsoft Office and Adobe Lightroom. If you're a power user of Office, or the Adobe Creative Suite, this is NOT the machine for you (yet)! (Update: since I wrote the review, Adobe launched the new Lightroom CC that works across mobile and desktop apps... "yet" may be changing faster than expected: this may become a great machine for Creative Suite apps sooner rather than later.)Bottom line: for the price it's a fantastic machine to access cloud services. If the app ecosystem is there for your needs, you'll enjoy a great user experience. Yes, more money can get you better hardware, or a more general purpose operating system. But for something that is incredibly easy to manage, excellent value for money, and JUST WORKS, you can't go wrong.Full disclosure: I work for a sister company of a company that makes notebooks (including chrome books). Rockchip processor provides more than adequate performance. Screen brightness decent. Google Play shipped as Beta but seems to work well. I have loaded the MS mobile apps and they work well. Keyboard has a nice touch / travel. Trackpad just OK, but I haven't tried any sensitivity adjustments. Very pleased with my purchase.And if anyone was wondering...when you insert a microSD card, it does sit flush with the side of the chassis, although there is no "door." It is "spring-loaded" so push in/click to insert, push in/ click to remove.

Perfect unit, we all love it at the office.

The Chromebook would not power on when we received it so I had to hold the power button down. After a few tries it powered up. All good since then. I'm impressed on how quick all the functions are. Solid little device.

Have had it approx. 1 month without a single issue at this point. Will update review if any problems occur.

I Bought this chrome book for my 10 year old, as a Christmas gift, and on the moment she opened it, felt in love with it, very fast and easy for her.

perfect size and can HDMI connect to a 34" widescreen no problem.

Grandson loves it, very easy to set up and used. Being used it all the elementary schools.

My daughter loves it. It is lightweight and versatile.

Excellent product

I was a bit skeptical about the quality for the price but since i have another asus computer decided to give it a try. This computer is amazingly beautiful and well built, even better than more expensive chromebooks. No problems so far, does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very good product for the price.

I loved this little thing. I ended up returning it because of reasons unrelated to the function of the device, but I still have the older version of this. This one is bound to be even better because it is all the good parts of the older model with 2 USB-C ports and USB-C charging rather than a proprietary plug.Fully recommend this unit.

We bought this for my 10 year old daughter (4th grade) for the "Bring Your Own Device" initiative at school. It's lightweight, a manageable size for her, and easy to use. The fact that she can fold it over flat and use it with the touch screen feature has been great for her seeing has how digital natives these days do a lot with touch screens and very little with typing. She hasn't had it very long, so I can update this review to let you know how it holds up. We are planning on getting a sleeve to protect it in her bookbag.

Great little Chromebook. We got a hard case and screen protector, very similar to a cell phone case, and it's been great. The only thing I wish it came with a stylus for when you use it as a tablet instead of a laptop. Other than that, it's wonderful and battery life lasts a couple days if you're not using it all day long.

Great easy to use small enough to store anywhere and it keeps a steady charge

Great Chromebook,very happy with it.

I worked at Google and have used no less than 7 different Chromebooks. This is the one that I bought with my own money - one for each family member. When one needed replacing, I bought it again - this time with a fast charging USB-C cord. awesome. Use it at Church, on the couch, and even on business trips. Well designed.

Mostly I use it for browsing the internet. Love that I can get a lot of android apps on here with the Play Store - but keep in mind not all apps are compatible.

Gorgeous, well-made little chromebook, battery lasts a long time. Works great with all android apps so far, really can't complain. I am a college student with scoliosis and this little device is saving my back! Has 2 usb-c ports which extends the life and means i carry less cables with me. Device looks sleek and stylish and is very sturdy, definitively a good value for the money.

Works perfect and perfect size for traveling

My house now has three Chromebooks. This is my favorite. Very small (10"), very light for handing it around and carry it (less than 2 lbs) and touch screen. So cool.
