Works great. Easy setup. Absolutely no problems!

This is a wonderful laptop. Inexpensive and yet performs well and meets all of my needs. On receiving it I promptly installed Mint Linux and set the system up for dual booting. I had to do a little research to find the correct driver and settings for the linux wireless card driver, however once that was done the system works wonderfully.

EXTREMELY IN LOVE WITH THIS LAPTOP. Completely worth the money. Well packed when it arrived. Also was expected to arrive in two weeks but instead arrived in two days!!! Was in perfect condition with everything working like a charm such as touchscreen. You're not gonna want to miss out on this!

its ok ...

I received the touchscreen version of this laptop. I am pleased with that! This is a basic laptop with a large wide screen. The DVD bay seems a little flimsy. I hope it will stand up to less than average use. The initial startup took a while but I was able to get up and running fairly quickly. It immediately connected to the Internet and I was able to establish my Outlook and Amazon accounts fast. The hard drive is noisy but it settles down after the laptop has been on for a while. The touchpad is not always responsive and hangs up sometimes. When that happens, I touch the screen to go where I want. I am not a gamer, so I am not interested in how fast it functions for the latest games. I am a YouTube power watcher. The screen clarity is great and the colors are vibrant. The speakers seem good. They are not too loud, but the sound is clear and it has good bass. I installed Microsoft Office from a different account. I got rid of some of the bloatware. Overall, I was offered this laptop just when I needed it. I wanted to upgrade from my AMD run Toshiba. This functions well for my needs.

This is a great laptop! It is easy to open and close and lightweight so it isnt cumbersome to travel with. The battery life is as advertised, up to about 3 hours while in use. Only reason for 4 stars is it was advertised as having a touch screen and the laptop I received is not. After discussing the problem with the seller, I was given the option to return the product for a full refund or take a $50 refund and keep the laptop. I chose to keep it because I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back and reordering. The keys are spaced normally and the 10 key is useful. I find myself hitting the shift key a lot when trying to use the up arrow because they are a little close. Overall I would recommend this computer for daily book work and marketing.

This laptop is NOT a touchscreen but it's still a good buy. There are hints of it being a touchscreen but I got it without that feature. Other than that it worked pretty good. It was fast and full of features. I did return it but only because of the missing touchscreen. Then I got one from best buy with 2tb hdd/8gb ram AND the touch for $50 more. Can't trust Amazon too much because returning things can be a hassle if you're not prepared plus most of their goods are from China. We know this!

My laptop runs quieter than the older model and is quite easily used for the programs I need. I am not a wizard on it and am enjoying the touch screen as well. I would continue to stay with Hewitt Packard as they haven't let me down yet!

good laptop quick shipping, no issues

Just received this, and immediately the Touch-Screen Display is not working. No errors. It simply looks like the necessary software is not installed. Have spent 3-4 hours online looking for a solution (other then perform a complete hard reset), and have nothing that helps. Ran Windows Update, checked all relevant Settings in Control Panel, still nothing. Nothing shows up for the touch screen under "Human Input Devices" under Device Manager. Waiting until Monday to get HP support on the phone. So far it's been a frustrating disappointment, which is unusual for an HP computer... and I've owned several.
