BQ is a Spanish consumer electronics and software development company. BQ claims to have launched the world's first smartphone running Ubuntu OS. The device runs a version of Linux distro Ubuntu's OS optimised for smartphones. The company has also made a smartphone for people with reduced mobility. It has offices in Europe and China. BQ's latest mobile launch is the Phone 4a. The mobile was launched in 5th March 2026. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,224 pixels by 2,720 pixels at a PPI of 440 pixels per inch.
The Nothing Phone 4a is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and it comes with 6GB, 8GB, 12GB of RAM.
