Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011. Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Edge 2026. The mobile was launched in 3rd June 2026. The phone comes with a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1220 pixels by 2712 pixels at a PPI of 460 pixels per inch. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Edge 2026 packs a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 10-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Motorola Edge 2026 runs Android 16 and is powered by a 5000mAh. It measures 152.30 x 71.98 x 7.22 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 160.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
